Suspect my converter is shot. Got down low with a flashlight and read the spec sticker and it says 40 amps. Seems low to me based upon what I read on this forum, the year of the coach, and what is available at Camping World---45, 55,65,75 amp. Assume there is no problem with jumping up to higher amps. Any comments on an upper practical amp limit? Any tricks to removing and replacing?Re: looking for owners of 2004-2005 Pace ArrowsI was referring to the panel in the lower compartment on the 2006 37C. But to blow my mind further, today I got in the MH, put the key in and Lo and Behold everything worked normally to include starting on the regular starting circuit. My only problems now are the fog lights don't work and I think the battery disconnect switches do not seem to work. If I rememeber correctly, I think I use to hear a kind of "clunk" when I pressed them before. Like I said in a post several years ago, I don't think any two of these were made the same. As I fopund pout with my wiring diagrams from Fleetwood, they didn't match.Re: looking for owners of 2004-2005 Pace ArrowsAfter returning to the States from almost two years out of the country, I have been getting our PA ready for the road. I installed a new battery for the engine and it started up and ran perfectly. However, I left it running and was installing the house batteries and I accidently touched the edge of the battery compartment and the engine immediately shut down. (I know--dumb) I finished installing the batteries and restarted the engine with the alternate switch. Everything runs fine. And I found one five amp fuse in the lower box that was blown. I replaced it and that made no difference on the engine not starting on the regular engine circuit. Seems like there might be fuse somewhere I can't find or an inline fuse between the battery and the regular starting circuit. Everything else in the coach runs normally. Any ideas?Re: looking for owners of 2004-2005 Pace ArrowsWas running our coach the other day prepping it for an upcoming trip. When I shut everything down, I could not get the coach batteries to disconnect. Normally you can hear a click when you press the disconnect switch. But no click and power is still available, for example, to the steps. Any ideas? Is there a fuse somewhere that might have blown?Re: looking for owners of 2004-2005 Pace Arrowsi replaced mine a couple of years ago and installed a SHURFLO Extreme Series Smart Sensor 5.7, Series 5900. Purchased through Camping World and took about 45-1 hour to install. Does not run continuously and shut off at no flow. Very pleased with pump.Re: looking for owners of 2004-2005 Pace ArrowsAll this talk about sheared bolts brings back an incident from two years ago. Haven't had the problem, but two years ago ran into a like RV at a park that had the front hanging bolt on the storage compartments on the LR slide break. He managed to get a jury rig fix until he could get a spec replacement bolt. In talking to a rep one time I was told that the weight limit for the two right rear plastic floored compartments was 350# each. I have never been able to get a good consistent answer on weight limits for the slide compartments. Anybody heard of one?Re: looking for owners of 2004-2005 Pace Arrowsroinhome, As a tip, I had my dash air checked and serviced at year one. It was working OK, but I was getting a bunch of other work done so I threw the air in too. While in New Mexico at a rest stop, with the dash air running, about the same as your 75-80 degree temp. When we got back on the road, it was freeze out. Really cold air coming out. Talked to a gent about a year later at an RV park and he had had a similiar experience. We attributed it to insufficient air flow through the engine compartment even with the fans running. On year 4 now and no problems at all.Re: looking for owners of 2004-2005 Pace ArrowsYes, Camping World removed the dome (and I did not keep it or any of the parts). The new dish was installed by them but in a slightly different location. I can't remember why they used a different location, but it make good sense at the time they explained it. They sealed the old location and I have had no problems with any leaks. As to the other topics currently on the thread: I too changed to the Taylor wires and the cooling kit when I did the Banks mod. No problems whatsoever. If fact our coach is running better than when it was new. We spent last spring/summer doing skylights, all the engine mods, gen service, etc. and it is had to find something to tinker with know. The year before, we converted the AV system to HD and installed fiber optic to thenew rear HD tv. works great. Still holding off on swith to Alcoa wheels lookiing for a good deal which I hope results from the economic downturn. Plus we have relocated to San Antonio and things are cheaper in Texas than Florida.Re: looking for owners of 2004-2005 Pace ArrowsHad Camping World install 5 LNB last summer and couldn't be more pleased. I don't think it has ever taken longer than about 4 minutes to erect and find the sats. A wonderful system and miles ahead of the dome we had before.Re: looking for owners of 2004-2005 Pace ArrowsNope. Here is the info from the invoice.
