CDL is administered by the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) FMCSA defines minimum requirements that all states must meet when issuing CDL's States are free to define more stringent CDL rules FMCSA regulations only address commercial motor vehicles (CMV) RV's used strictly for recreational and other non-commercial functions do not meet the FMCSA definition of a CMV RV's are looked at differently than CDL's!Re: Generator or not??We have one on our TH, and we use it for mainly for doing BBQ cook offs where there's no land power. But I use the heck out of it when we are getting ready for a big trip, and getting home for clean up. I rarely camp, well I never camp with out hook ups, but it's nice to have power if and when ever I need it, or like a long trip where you want to pull over and sleep for a while, it's just a push of a button away.Re: Dutchmen tires from factoryI agree about the cheapest tires, that goes for automobiles as well!!! They are just trying to get the cheapest product out there, but you would expect to 12,000 miles out of a tire! I just pushed my limit. As far as what brand came with it, I don't remember, but it was a brand the tire service has never heard of!!!!Re: Dutchmen tires from factoryI put Carlisle's on.... they are rated the #1 travel trailer tire that my tire service carries. I had them on my Montana TT... and never had a problem with them, so we we'll see. Here's there website http://www.carlisletransportationproducts.com/product/tires/trailers-toy-haulers-towables/radial-trail-rhDutchmen tires from factoryI got 1 year and 22 days out of the tires from the factory! I had told my self to change them, and then I said one more trip, one more trip, one more trip! I went one more trip to many, and it bit me..... It tore off the skirting on the driver side about 8 feet long... Needless to say I have all new tires on it now!2093949919_P_17Re: Pic of the new Fuzion 342 with duallyCongrats.... Happy RVingRe: Texas registration for THRickSo.... beautiful rig!!!Re: Texas registration for THLooking at the scale... 19,000 is the jump to the $200 mark and that's what the registration bill has on it. As far as a plate and insurance charge they are separate and the insurance does not go through the state.
