Dutchmen tires from factory

I got 1 year and 22 days out of the tires from the factory! I had told my self to change them, and then I said one more trip, one more trip, one more trip! I went one more trip to many, and it bit me..... It tore off the skirting on the driver side about 8 feet long... Needless to say I have all new tires on it now!2093949919_P_17

You have to love a good tire thread. BTW I went 2+ years before I got a side blister on the factory tires.

    Oxymoron

Carlisles? Run away screaming and hide.
  • Carlisles are the worst tire you can put on a trailer. Period.
I had five out of five fail over the few years I had them and one of them had a cord separation while laying in the back of my truck under the canopy!
They used to be good when they were bias-ply but the radials are terrible.

  • I agree about the cheapest tires, that goes for automobiles as well!!! They are just trying to get the cheapest product out there, but you would expect to 12,000 miles out of a tire! I just pushed my limit. As far as what brand came with it, I don't remember, but it was a brand the tire service has never heard of!!!!
  • In my opinion:) All tires that come with a new RV should be thrown away before you take the RV off the lot. RV manufactures ask the tire manufactures to give the best priced (translated- the cheapest) tire to put on their new RV's. Capitalism in the U.S. is alive and well:)
