Black Canyon of the Gunnison South Rim campground
Planning a 4 week trip through the southwest this summer and one of our stops will be the Black Canyon of the Gunnison South Rim campground. I have reserved a site in loop B with electric hook ups. Was reading some of the reviews on rvparkreviews.com and a couple people mentioned that the campground is not recommended for rvs 35 feet or more in length. Our fifth wheel is a 35 model number and probably right at 38 ft long. Are we going to have a problem with this campground? We will be going thru Dalhart this summer coming from a stay in Palo Duro Canyon and heading to the Pikes Peak area. I have a regular size front AC on my 35 ft 5ver and I believe my height is 13' 6". Don't want to chance it, thanks for the detour info, I plan to use it.616Views0likes0Comments
