We have a 2015 Thor Challenger 37ND, have been back to the factory 2 times and going back for a 3rd. time, really bad fit and trim, this coach is billed as a luxury coach(a joke)only 2 major issues oil leak from oil cooler and shock towers only hand tight, most issues were minor, drawers not tight molding coming lose bay doors leak just minor stuff but to many to list,(17 plus first trip 25 2nd trip) each time at the factory stayed their a week plus, now headed back for leak from washer hookups that has damaged outside kitchen plus other items, people @ the factory have been really nice to work with have addressed all issues, this coach has a super ride and handles great, don't have to worry about semis when they pass, 7plus fuel mil. after taking the Newmar factory tour and looking at them think I would buy Newmar462Views0likes0CommentsRe: Thor Motorhome Issues
Bought a 2015 Thor Challenger, long list of issues only a couple that were major rest kind a minor issues, first was oil leak in motor and ABS switch broke and shock towers only finger tight, rest were minor drawers loose compartment bays leak shower leaks rest just minor, talked to Thor rep. and decided to take to Wakarusa Ind., glad I did got all items plus some they found know problems or hassle, will not go back to dealers. I think majority of the techs don't have a clue as to what they are doing when it comes to an RV and want to fault the manufacture for issues and taking so long to repair. Don't have the 24 or 26000 chassis have the 22000 in a 2015 38ft. Thor Challenger tow a Saturn Vue no problems excellent power, don't know it's back there, had some issues with it took it to a dealer for warranty work and got no results so took it to factory, and was really surprised at how responsive the factory was to our concerns, everything taken care of and did not have to get in a shouting match with them very nice and the ride of this coach is really good572Views0likes0CommentsRe: 2005 F53 vs newer 2015 F53 Chassis
Just traded a 2005(on 04 chassis) for a 2015, old one was a 18500 19.5 tires, new coach (a Thor Challenger) is a 22000 on 22.5 tires a world of difference in the ride and handling, before when a semi would pass it would push me all over the road, now don't hardly notice them when they pass only thing I don't like is engine noise, but that is Thor not Ford like going from a VW dune buggy to a Cadillac, really like the pass thru storage in the new coach673Views0likes0CommentsRe: Thor Challenger
Just bought 2015 37ND, love the Ford chassis rides really good, biggest problem is warranty work, dealer has to call Thor to get Bought ours in Fla. not economical to take to dealer (200 miles for warranty work) Lot's of minor issues, shower leaks, toilet leaks, drawers and pantry slide out when making turns (to many to list) so having to take it back to Elkhart for work ( live in Ga.)not wired for satellite either, not easy to hook up dvr from cable side, lot of engine noise especially when shifting out of overdrive381Views0likes0CommentsRe: Thor Challenger

We just bought the 2015 Challenger 37nd, really like the coach have a few minor problems, shower leak, and drawers coming out on left hand turns biggest thing is chassis warranty problems getting dealer to get warranty info. to ford, after having a 18500lb chassis the 22000lb chassis drive a whole lot better (only 350 miles) really impressed so far) if I had it to do over again my only regret is not checking out my dealer better, having to drive 200 miles to get work done, do not want to camping world538Views0likes0Comments
