Thank you,Starting 2 -3 Mo West Coast tour from Michigan in SeptemberTwo RV's traveling together, with the largest being a 31' TT, with more time, and few commitments. Plan on leaving Michigan about August 31st, looking to staying in/near Rapid City for 3-4 days, then on to Yellowstone for 5-6 days, Then over to Oregon, working our way south through California, Nevada, New Mexico, hitting Texas, depending on time start heading back to Michigan I have hear good things about Custer State Park, but have never been, and would like suggestions, Regarding Yellowstone, thinking about staying in West Yellowstone, then doing day trips into the NP, We know it is getting late in the year, and CG's begin closing in the YNP about 9/22. Any help would be welcome, Thank you in advance,Yukon XL 2500 replacement shocks, recommendations ???I have read almost all of the previous post on replacement shocks for 2500's but am still confused. We have a 2008 Yukon XL 2500 that I have been zeroing in the towing package, but believe that the last thing needed are replacement shocks for the OEM units still on the TV. The TV has 55,000 miles, and does not have the auto-ride system What would be the best replacement shocks that will help with towing? (Still having limited porpoising depending on the road condition)Older Newbie, need weight adviceBack in the Rv world, last fall acquired 2001 Terry 31 EX and a 2008 Yukon Xl 2500 w/ 43,000 miles. Had Reese dual cam HP WDH installed by CW this spring. Gone out 2 times so far, with another 8 days scheduled before August, with a 3 month trip to the west coast in September in the planning phase. TV & TT fully loaded and I believe balanced for travel, the following was the cat scale readings last weekend, but I need some advice if I have it set up correctly. Steer Axle. Drive Axle. Trailer Axle. Gross w/ WD on 5th chain link. 3320. 4860. 7740. 15920 w/o WD 2980. 5340. 7600. 15920 I don't have the actual hitch weight, All tires are E rated, and inflated to max lbs (80 lbs) Other than the steer tires @ 65 lbs Yukon XL 2500 has GCWR of 16,000, max trailer weight rating 9,700 Terry Trailer has a GVWR of 9,100, and published hitch dry weight of 830 Unit rides well, slight porposing on the 5th chain, same as weighed, porposing goes away when on the 4th chain, but not weighed (yet) What more can I do or need to do?
