It looks to check all the boxes for us. Has anyone had experience with that line and the model specifically? It's time to get out of the house!Re: Little Guy trailers--any experiences? Very nice, wish I could have talked my wife into something like this but she doesn't like anything to do with a wet bath and is stuck on a conventional TT design ... but Holy Smokes, the price :E - about $38,000 Cdn! Yikes! :E Don't you have yours all modded out now to your liking? I looked thru your pics before and there are some great ideas.Re: Clogged drain, any solution? Dick_B wrote: I would never use any kind of drain cleaner either at home or on the RV. Go to the hardware store and buy one of those plastic drain claws that has the teeth on it facing backwards. shove it down the drain and move it around and pull out the `stuff'. Do the same at home. that works well. you can get them at the dollar store. i have to do all the house drains at least once a year too. you may consider pouring some baking soda in the drain and then follow it with white vinegar. Plunge it a couple times and the resulting chemical reaction should push thru most blockages.Re: Owner FinancingThat was brutal.... maybe some more facts?Re: best fresh water hose stickdog wrote: I've always found that a jigger of CC and a twist of lemon makes any water from any color hose taste better. beer has the same effect.....and you don't need a hose at all.Re: Whole House Water Filter for Camping Use???In your case the real question is what the quality of the water coming out of the well? It can vary greatly and could even be dangerous. My first suggestion is to get the water tested at a local lab (sometimes you can get a water treatment place to do it for you). That will then tell you ph levels, hardness, radium levels, as well as possible biological issues. Depending on the depth of the well and quality of the aquifer that feeds it, there are any number of contaminates you could be exposed to. At minimum I would use a particulate filter followed by a charcoal filter for the basic water and consider a small reverse osmosis under sink unit for drinking and cooking.Re: Passport Elite 23RB or Cougar 22RBS ppine wrote: It is a great idea to hang out in both trailers for part of an afternoon and see how they feel. We spent the day a Leo's and at Chesaco RV. Also some time at Camping world in Hanover. none of the dealers were particularly good or bad. We are up in Harford county so we can go anywhere. Being local, where did you buy? 5 years sounds like a long time till retirement when you hear all the folks on here and their long trips!Passport Elite 23RB or Cougar 22RBSHello All, We are looking at our first purchase and have narrowed it down to one of these two models. It is just the two of us mainly for weekends until retirement so about 5 years or so. Obviously these model are almost identical but has anyone had and experience with either product line? Thanks! DaveRe: Best way to get outlet/power strip next to bed???running an electrical cord under the mattress is a bad idea and possibly a fire hazard if it wears a bit.
