Put a higher quality, quieter pump as the main pump and used the old OEM as the one in the pass through. What pump did you buy to replace it?Replacing water pump... which one?I need to replace my Shurflo pump model 4008-101-E65. The check valve keeps sticking shut. Just got stuck boondocking with no water. I am looking to find a replacement and just wanting to find the most efficient cost, noise, flow and power usage wise. Maybe the Shurflo is the best, but I am just trying to get opinions. ThanksRe: Do's and don'ts of towing a loaded 12" tandem behind 5vr??Thanks, good to know... I will be traveling thru WY, ID, UT, NV and AZ. All are double/triple tow states.Do's and don'ts of towing a loaded 12" tandem behind 5vr??I'm heading south w/my side by side on trailer behind 30' 5th wheel, I have never done this before. I have to say I am a little nervous. I know there is only straight ahead. Any words of experience from the Knowing? ThanksRe: Remote duel fuel 2500 watt generator?thanks for your comments. There is a an igen Westinghouse 4500DF that is both duel fuel and remote start/stop for around $1100. Has anyone used this one?Installing generator and propane tank on rear rack of fiver?I already have a rear rack on my fiver and my power inlet is there, too. Is there any problem with installing the propane generator and propane tanks there?Remote duel fuel 2500 watt generator? Are there any lightweight quiet generators like this out there. I am not sure what I am looking for. I have a small Honda 1500 watt now just wondering. I actually would like something I could install in a 30 ft fiver garage.Re: Looking at 2013 Cougar 28sgs 5th wheel laknox wrote: Duke-44 wrote: Thanks everyone I decided not to go for this model. FWIW, I looked at Cougars several years ago and they, like many other FWs, had pretty anemic-sized tanks, especially the black tank. For those of us that like to boondock, that takes them right off the list. After buying my KZ, I'd encourage you to look at older KZs. In that vintage, they were still privately owned (now owned by Thor) and, IMO, quality was better than it is now. Lyle Thanks for the advice. The tank size did bother me. I actually do more boondocking than hookups. What years of KZ would you recommend?Re: Looking at 2013 Cougar 28sgs 5th wheelThanks everyone I decided not to go for this model.
