Exterior Light Added LED Strip light with Pictures
We upgraded the outside light as we found that prepping food or arriving or packing up in the dark, the outside light was just not practical. My dear handy husband came up with an idea to add an extra switch on the orange outside light. This way we can have the original light working together with the strip light, which lights up the whole camp ground so bright it can be. But then we can also flip the little switch outside and have only the orange light on for a more romantic soft light. This was one of our best mods. Before this mod, we also had the issue that items in the cupboard bounced against the door and let the door open during travel and the floor is littered with the contents of the cupboard. Since the plexiglass stoppers went up, problem solved. The door has not once flung open. Everything stays secured inside. Our shower curtain has small pieces of velcro every 6" or so, attached to the wall, to avoid spilling water on the floor. I cant believe we did not do this mod earlier, its such a schlep to deal with the roll of toilet paper all the time. We often use our bathroom while on the road. The toilet paper holder should be a permanent fixture and never move again. We had a very narrow piece of wall between the shower and the bathroom door and we mounted it sideways. Now you sit on the toilet and the toilet paper is right in front of you to the right. We used a plastic toilet holder and mounted it with 2 small screws. Its mounted sideways as there was not enough room to mount it the proper way. It works fantastic! Very practical and inexpensive and took 5 minutes to put up. Highly recommend it. Our trailer is almost 10 years old, we are the 3rd owners and yesterday it got a plastic toilet paper holder ! We mounted it sideways with 2 little screws. There is a narrow wall between the shower and the bathroom door. Now when you sit on the toilet, the toilet paper is right in front of you to the right.
