The box is 26.5 feet and the overall length from bumper to hitch is 29.5 feet. If paying for something based on length I say 26.5 feet, if making sure in can fit some where I say 29.5 feet.Metal Shades in the bunkhouse- options to replace? We have a Passport 2650 TT. My kids sleep in the bunkhouse and all night long you can hear them move around when their knees hit the metal blinds covering the bunkhouse windows. The metal blinds make that bending metal noise all night long. It drives us crazy and they don't like it either. I am thinking about removing the blinds and doing one of the following: 1. Get those windows tinted darker (limo tint) so no one can see in from the outside. 2. Putting the opaque frosted privacy film on the inside 3. Replacing the metal blinds with cellular shades. I am worried these might get damaged as they move around at night. Anyone have experience with different window covering options in the bunkhouse? Our biggest concern is obviously anyone being able to see in while they are sleeping.Re: Anyone camp at Fairview Campground in Kernville? One other questions about Fairview....are you able to fill fresh water tanks at the campground? Do they have a faucet? Is there any where in kernville or Lake Isabella to fill fresh water tanks for my TT? Trying to avoid towing full tanks up there if I can.Re: Lake Isabella CAI am traveling to Lake Isabella from LA pulling a 29 foot travel trailer. Sounds like my easiest route is 5N to 14N to 178W. Has anyone else traveled this route? Any significant downgrades or hills on 178W? I am willing to go a few extra miles if it means an easier drive and less tight rock lined curves.
