It turned out to be something very simple and what a lot of you suggested. It was just the gray tank needed a good flushing. I poured Pine sol down all the gray tank drains and ran hot water in it and drove to our campsite about an hour away and flushed it real good. All the odors are gone and have't came back at all. Thank You all for your help.Re: I need some guidance on odor problem UPDATED! Old-Biscuit wrote: But 'tank deodorizers' are suppose to 'cure' that problem SORRY ....being a bit sarcastic Where is odor concentrated? Have you checked if smell is coming from an Air Admittance Valve? (On kitchen/bathroom sink drain lines after the 'P' traps---if stay open grey tank smells come back inside rv. Grey stinks as bad/worst then black tank) Have you checked battery....over charging/boiling etc can stink like rotten eggs First off yes i thought about the battery and it is okay in fact it's a brand new battery like less than a month old. Truthfully i didn't know about the air admittance valve, i will find that and check it out this weekend. The odor appears to be coming from back in the rear of the trailer where the bathroom and sink is located. This weekend i put about 15 gallons of hot water with detergent and fabric softener and drove about an hour to the campsite and dumped and rinsed thinking it might have been the black tank. I flushed it good and everything came out and pretty much clear. I did notice however when draining the gray water this weekend it was pretty cruddy with a lot of junk draining out so it may very well be the coming from the Gray tank.I need some guidance on odor problem UPDATED!I need some guidance prior to taking my camper to the RV shop. I have a 2013 Graywolf 26BH that we bought new. This problem just started this year, we're having a bad sewer smell. I use a good quality tank deodorizer and always flush with lots of water and never ever flush toilet paper down. This smell just started this year, we have never had this problem before this year. This year we have are getting a pretty bad odor not sure if its from the gray or black tank. I will tell you i always rinse the black tank at least twice after each use and don't appear to have any blockage or anything. Any suggestions on what this may be or any suggestions on correcting this problem would be appreciated.Re: How do we get Fido to eat.....? colliehauler wrote: mockturtle wrote: DutchmenSport wrote: Let the dog drive when she's hungry. If she did well on it, I'd continue feeding the same thing. If not, I'd try a grain free, fish-based kibble. Sweet potatoes seem to be tolerated better than white potatoes by many sensitive dogs. Some dogs do well on turkey or duck, as well (my sensitive girl cannot tolerate anything with feathers - lol). Every dog is different. I have a dog who's very sensitive to many kibble ingredients, especially grains, white potatoes, and fowl. She does well on Earthborn Holistic Venture Alaska Pollock Meal & Pumpkin Limited Ingredient Diet Grain-Free Dry Dog Food (she also does well on the pork flavor), Go! Sensitivity + Shine LID Pollock Recipe Grain-Free Dry Dog Food, and Victor Yukon River Salmon & Sweet Potato Grain-Free Dry Dog Food. Many people swear by Fromm, Acana or Wellness grain free kibbles. These can be found at private pet stores, or on Chewy.com. Fromm is no longer available on Chewy.com, after Petsmart bought the company. Tractor Supply also sells grain free kibbles under their own label, 4Health. Some have potatoes in them, while some do not. You'll need to read the labels carefully. I would avoid grain-based kibbles that advertise as being for skin sensitivites (Pro-Plan, Royal Canin, Science Diet). They are mainly grain, especially corn and wheat. These can drive a sensitive dog insane! Been there, done that. The rescue got her late Sunday evening, they took her to the vet Monday and got her checked out and spayed and we adopted her Wednesday so she was only there a few days but they had her on Natures Select and sent some home with us. I'm using that for now, haven't decided whether to continue or not. We've been Rescued!Well first of all the wife and i have been rescued. :B Back a couple months ago we had to help one of our senior Boston Terriers over the rainbow bridge. We started thinking about adopting again and contacted our contact at a local rescue group and told her what we were thinking. Low and behold a few weeks later this past Monday she called me they had just rescued a 2 y/o French Bulldog female from a breeding operation. We went to meet her on Wednesday and well the rest is history. Our understanding is that Frenchie's has a reputation for skin and allergy issues some caused by food. Can anyone here with Frenchie experience give us ideas on any special food if any and any preventative measures on the skin and allergy issues we have been told about? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.Re: Bliss went to the Rainbow Bridge todayI'm so sorry for the loss, we just went through the same thing a week ago yesterday and the pain is still as fresh as the day i had to say good bye. The memories do help though.Fairwell to our loyal and faithful companionBeing it's the winter i haven't been online much the last few months. Monday of this week i made my routine yearly checkup/shots appt. for our 13 y/o Boston Beau. Nothing was amiss at that time or so i thought. Anyway the wife called me Wednesday evening before i got home from work and said Beau wasn't his normal self. I could tell this as well when i got home but still nothing overly alarming. Thursday evening the whole floor dropped out, he wasn't eating and couldn't go to the bathroom and was really looking bad. I had never saw one go down hill that fast right in front of my eyes. My appt. was for 3 in the afternoon so i called our vet/friend and he said to bring him in at 10 and he check him out. By Friday morning he was looking even worse and i knew deep down something very serious was wrong. When i got him in they suggested an xray to check for a possible blockage. They found a very large tumor in his stomach and he was shutting down fast. We had to make the very hard decision to help him over the rainbow bridge. I held him and comforted him while he took his last breath. Just before they gave him the injection he looked up at me and i could tell by his eyes he was telling me it was time. Whenever the wife and i was home ill or injured he would set on the couch as close to us as possible and if we went to another room he was right there with us every step of the way. He was our protector and faithful friend. We are very heavy hearted today but i know we made the right decision. I'm a 63 y/o man but cried like a baby. It was a very hard decision but one every one on here has had to make for there companions. DougRe: Heaven Acquired a New Angel Calvin's GiftOh Lance I'm so sorry about Calvin. I haven't been on the forum for over a week and just now saw this, I am sending you a pm. DougRe: Stranded near Sacramento, can anyone help?I just sent you a pm with a suggestion.
