Thanks for the help guys, I just looked under truck 7 pin wires go into a terminal, not sure how to wire in a solenoid, Since I have a 3ft deck on the back of camper unplugging every time could get to be a pain. The wire plugs into the front of the camper runs down along the insider of the bed and comes out at tailgate and plugs into the bumper. At the tailgate it can be reached easy, At this point is there any inline systems that can added to disconnect what wire that needs to be, or do they all have to be disconnected398Views0likes0Commentsbattery disconnect
I have a 2006 bigfoot 25c9.4, when I have camper hooked to truck the switch in the camper to disconnect the battery will not turn off, but when not connected to truck and just using the camper battery the switch seems to work fine. Never had a issue with this on my older truck. Thanks for the help,I am going to load it up with water and food for a weekend at the beach also I have a deck on the camper to hold generator and compressor, maybe with all of this plus fishing gear I can get some pressure on the overload springs to help with sway. I did more searching on this site and came up with 1st stable loads 2nd sway bar if I am not happy with the handling.172Views0likes0Commentssuspension help
Hi all been a lurker for awhile. I have a bigfoot tc since 2006 used to carry it on a 2006 gmc 2500 used airbags, super spring overload upgraded tires to 285's loaded was at 11300 lbs. I decided to upgrade to a 2015 3500 chevy srw. The reason for swr is I do surf fishing and some beaches will not allow dwr. The camper sticker wt is 2600lbs.When I put the camper on the 3500 it does not come in contact with the upper overload springs, now the camper is not full yet. I don't believe when it's full that it will compress the springs much there still 1/2inch to make contact. Should I add sway bar or airbags or upper stable loads to help with the side to side movement754Views0likes4Comments
