We would like to be able to keep an eye on the camper and the Dog while we are out. My question is what does everybody use for a camera and how does it hook into free wireless? Do we need a hot spot? We have Consumer Cellular for phone service. Any advice would be a Great Help. Thanks in Advance!Dog In CamperHi Folks, we have an 8 yr old German Shepard that we would like to take alone on a trip in the near future. Most stops on our trip will be out door type activity's , which are not a problem. The issue that we are facing is what to do with the dog when we go into say an amusement park? Our guy is not much of a barker so leaving him in the camper as long as ac is on would work. Or would it? We would never leave him tied up outside. Just wondering what others do in this situation? Thanks in advance.Re: Problem after Problem with new RVBeware of any water in your coach. We had a Keystone Laredo Fifth Wheel purchased brand new in 04. One day my wife found a magazine that was on the night stand beside the bed was soaked. Upon further investigation a small leak was found on the roof seem where it meets the front cap. It seems the roof was leaking from day one and it finally came out on the night stand and the door side of the coach. Long story shortened, The 5er went back to the factory and all carpets and all wood that was touching the carpet was replaced as well as the Entire right or the camper as it was de-laminating, Finally got unit back 8 months later. On our first trip I notice the rear tires are showing steel belts coming thru the tires. It seem Keystone had bad axles that year the camber was welded wrong on a lot or units. Keystone had no recall as they determined most units tire wear would never become an issue while under warranty, and would deal with it on a case by case basis. They replaced them and the tires! My point is BEWARE OF WATER LEAKS. Like others have said learn to fix the small stuff yourself. Goodluck and happy camping.Re: Passenger in your 5erMy rule of thumb about riding in the 5er was "If It Has a Pulse it rides in the TV " we put a go pro camera back there once just to see how rough it could be, didn't look to bad but I still wouldn't want to ride back there.Chevy Class C?Hi All just wondering which manufactures make Class C units with a Chevrolet drive train. Almost everyone I have seen has the ford F450 platform. Not trying to start a Ford Chevy war ( I have owned both in pick up trucks) but what is your preference and why? Thanks in Advance:)Re: Used Class C HelpWow you guys are the best. I must clarify the 5 people are my wife, myself, two teenage boys and a 12 year old young lady. The more i read the more i'm thinking about leaving the Subaru at home. uber or a rental will do. We really like the Jayco 31FS Redhawk. So much for a used unit, once the DW looked at the New Jayco's she is all in for a new unit. Still we dont rush into anything and will still be looking for advice on options and such that go along with a new purchase. Thanks to everyone who responded and keep them coming!Re: Used Class C HelpBobndot. That's why I came back to the forum. I wouldn't even think of the overhang behind the rear wheels and all the weight back there. You sir have given me a lot to think about. Seatbelts, plus people weight wow. I must admit I always thought the class c guys had it easy compared to a 5er and TV. Like usual I Have a Lot to Learn.Used Class C HelpHi All.
