SSD Drive Read Errors My laptop has a Kimtigo SSD 512GB hard drive. It is divided into 2 partitions. Windows 10 operating system is on the C: partition. All data is stored on the other F: partition. I have good backups of both partitions that are about 6 weeks old. When I attempted to back up (differentially) the F partition today, I get 30 read errors. ScanDisk shows no errors. If this was a spinning hard drive, I would do a surface check. I will be replacing the drive as soon as I can get one on order. I will probably upgrade to 1 TB SSD drive Is there a good program to check a SSD drive? Should I clone the old drive to the new drive or is it better to do a full reinstallation of Windows 10? My laptop will not support Windows 11. All thoughts and comments are welcome. Re: Slide out hell! Many (most) slides allow you to crank them in by turning the square bar under the slide. Re: How to know when freshwater tank is full????? StirCrazy. I do not have a gravity fill water fill. How to know when freshwater tank is full????? I have been RVing since 1979. During this time, I have owned a dozen or more travel trailers and or 5th wheels RVs. Each of these RVs had a gravity freshwater fill port with a vent/overfill drain at a location that was easy to see when the freshwater tank was full. We boondocks more than 75% of the time; therefore, it is very important to have a full freshwater type. Our current 5th wheel does not have a gravity freshwater filled port and the vent/overflow drain is located near the wheels where it is almost impossible to see when the freshwater tank is full and water overflows. I thought about running some type of hose, connected to the existing vent/overflow drain to someplace such as near the City water hose connection so I can see when the freshwater tank is full. Do any of you have a better suggestion? I’m not trying to address the problem of siphoning water out of the freshwater tank. There are other threads which address the siphoning problem. Re: Re: Community Cheat Sheet Put a number of mice poison under (behind) the cabinet drawers and other places that pet can not get to. The poison is a blood thinner. After eat some the mice need to drink water and will leave the TT to get a drink and die outside. Re: gps Caver, Yes it took me 6 months to switch from MapSource to BaseCamp. I still use MapSource some time. Re: gps I use Garmin's BaseCamp to plan my trip on my laptop so I can zoom in and out and use different colors for each day's trip. Google mymaps nor Waza allows me to use different colors for each leg. I can also upload the trip into my very old garmin streetpilot gps, but BaseCamp does not interface with my vehicle's display so I use Google maps to navigate each days trip. I some time use Waze on my tablet, but Waze will not allow me to put in a long 4-6 week trip like BaseCamp.
