Considering the same KO2s for my 2011 Expy to tow my 6.5K lb TT. How have you found the KO2s to perform when both towing (for handling) and without (noise)? Do you have to adjust the inflation as I've been doing for my P tires between towing and not towing? Thanks, hope they are working out well for you this camping season! Love the new tires. Completely different towing experience with them VS old P tires. They are handling pretty good with and without TT. Did not notice any additional noise. The only difference I noticed my truck became a little stiff but maybe because I do not bother deflating the tires when I’m not towing. I keep them around 55psi. I'm not sure if I can deflate them to Ford recomended 35psi. In other words I don’t know what the minimum psi is for KO2.Re: Lake Okeechobee campground recommendationI end up with W.P. Franklin. Only 120mi from my house and water front spot. I think I got lucky to find a spot there. Thanks everybody for great suggestions. I will look into it for next trip.Re: Lake Okeechobee campground recommendationThe Fisheating Creek does not have any availability for my dates. I'm looking at Ortona South and W.P. FRANKLIN N. as they still have spots avalable. Both places have good reviews. I'm thinking W.P Franlin because it is a water front site.Re: Lake Okeechobee campground recommendationThanks for your reply Dave. I was actually looking at http://www.rolandmartinmarina.com Do you know how is the campground over there? We have a 35ft TT. I also found http://www.fisheatingcreekoutpost.com/Fisheating Creek Outpost. Looks pretty good. Anybody familiar with it? dockmasterdave wrote: We are from Naples, and have camped our way around the lake. This one looked pretty nice, and had reasonable rates. http://www.rolandmartinmarina.com/okeechobee_campground.php If you want rustic you could try J and S fish camp. Near the northeast corner. They have permanent residents, transients, cottages, and a nice little tavern on premise. If you like golf, check out the glades rv resort.Near the south end of the lake, a little nicer/fancier, used to have a GREAT restaurant. Saw the owners at an RV show a couple weeks ago, they said they are currently trying to find someone to rent the resaurant, so it's closed. Snack bar is open. Happy to help if you can narrow it down a little. You can always PM me. Lake Okeechobee campground recommendationMy dad is coming to visit us from NY and I would like to take him camping with us for a few days. He is very big on fishing (I’m not) so I would like to find a nice RV park/campground with fishing available. I was thinking Lake Okeechobee or somewhere near. There are quite a few lakes in that area. I would appreciate any recommendations.Re: Yet another thermostat upgrade questionLooks like we have conflicting diagrams here but I will need to follow Coleman Mach diagram because this is what I'm replacing...Re: Yet another thermostat upgrade question newman fulltimer wrote: coleman. honeywell red.............red blue.............not used white,............white green,............to high fan yellow.............yellow if you dont wasnt low speed tape off all other wires Assuming Green wire to G connector and tape off Blue and Grey. Did I get it right?Yet another thermostat upgrade questionI purchased non-programmable Honeywell thermostat and still confused on how to connect it in my Heartland Wilderness 3150DS. The model of the new t-stat is RTH5100B. There are 6 wires in my TT connected to Coleman-Mach analog t-stat. I decided not to install additional switch for Hi/Low fan operation to simplify the installation. I can always add it later as long as I can identify all the wires. Here are the wires that are coming out of the wall. Red Yellow White Brown (Connected to Grey) Green Blue I know I need to connect White and Yellow but I’m really confused about the rest of the wires. Some posts saying not to use Blue and Green others are saying not to use Red. The new –t-stat has the following connections: Rc R Y Not used W G I would appreciate any help with this mod.Re: Tow Vehicle Tires upgradeBroke the bank yesterday and installed new KO2 tires.... Re: Tow Vehicle Tires upgradeI decided to get BF Goodrich All-Terrain TA KO2 tires but will wait few weeks until Black Friday. Maybe there will be some kind of a deal.
