Thought I saw a comment about NOT leaving vehicle Title at a consignment company. Guess they would need it to sell it. Maybe a copy?Looking to Consign in SoCalHi All -- I'm looking for someone who's had a good/great experience in SoCal with a Consignment Sale. La Mesa in SD could work but don't know anything about them and need a referral. I'm willing to travel to PPL if I need to but it's a haul from SoCal. Thanks for any leads. L.Re: Covered versus Outside Storage CostPriced indoor storage today at Mission Viejo, South of Irvine, for $460/mo. That's for a 35' MH. There's a 7 person waiting list. Think she said outside waiting list is 70 -- but that can't be right.Re: Colorado I-70Check weather online a few days out. You don't want to be going over Eisenhower Tunnel and Vail Pass if it's snowing though it's not cold enough for it to stick and be a real problem. Still, check the weather. Should be no problem.Upgrading from my Class C (Lazy Daze)Have a '02 Lazy Daze and a '08 Alpenlite 5th wheel, 3 slides. Thinking of downsizing the Alpenlite and have come full circle. Looking at another Class C and want one with the quality of the Lazy Daze. If the LD had a slide, I'd buy another. I'm spoiled with having more room. I just don't want to sacrifice quality for room. If you were looking at Lazy Daze, are there other Class C's you'd consider? (King bed is a necessity.) Appreciate your comments. PS -- Not considering the Super Cs, or diesel. Gasser is fine for now.Looking to upgrade to a larger Class CI have a '02 Lazy Daze. It's always felt too small and no storage. We love the rear with lots of windows -- if it had 2 slides, it could work. IT's 27' and worked OK for p/t but that's changing to closer to full time, sometimes. Looking at an article called Top 10 RV's, http://rvroadtrip.us/top10/rv-manufacturers.php, I'm beginning a search of owners who have Class C's with slides. A perfect Class C would have lots of windows, quality build, etc. Guess 30' - 32' range, front driver/passenger chairs that swivel -- don't know how common that is. Anyone in love with what they have? Any suggestions for manufacturer's to look at is greatly appreciated.Re: Replacement rear window 2008 AlpenliteAt least one contact has suggested I replace the ''glass'' only and not the entire metal framed window. My window is 3 piece -- square in the middle, vertical rectangles on the side with rounded corners exterior perimeter. Anyone know how this scenario might work out?Replacement rear window 2008 AlpenliteMy rear window is starting to fail looking smoky/dirty haze. The small bedroom window has totally failed. Anyone know who I need to contact? Have yet to call Uhlmann's where I picked up my 34RL. Ordered brown, factory gave me green. Come back in 2 weeks. Told Jodie at Uhlmann's the sales guy to thoroughly inspect prior to arrival. Running lights didn't work, along with fridge and A/C and Kingdome antenna. In the middle of warranty work at Temecula Valley RV, Western goes belly up and I pay for work. Picked a bad time to give up smoking.Re: Water in toilet drains out slowlyThe olive oil worked for me. Thanks for that!Re: Water in toilet drains out slowly rmasonschneider wrote: give Vaseline a try and if that doesn't keep it sealed, time to change the rubber seals. But realize that most will leak water into the black tank over time...for mine, water will stay in the bowl about 10 days before either evaporating or draining to the black tank. good luck I'll try the vaseline. For my 5ver, where water has never stayed in the bowel (draining in probably an hour or so), do you think the seal came defective from the factory? Guess I'll replace that seal too. Revised: Googled this stuff and found out about the seal, removing the toilet, etc. Wow. I had no clue. Just curious -- have others done this job? 12 year old Class C, a seal I've never cleaned, it's held up pretty well.
