I used the Instapark mounts and glued them down with "Through the Roof" adhesive, It is a clear adhesive specifically made for use on a roof, so heat isn't a problem. I love the stuff. Screws go through the mounts into the panel frame to hold them in the mounts. As I was finishing up mounting them, I got interrupted and had to come off the roof. I then made a 350 mile trip. The next time I was on the roof I noticed that the rear-most panel did not have the screws in it. I had forgotten to put them in. (Hey, I old, OK?) The panel was laying in place perfectly just as if I hadn't moved the motorhome. So I guess the fears of wind pulling them off depends upon the placement on the roof and shape of others items up there. I got lucky. I love the performance I get from the two 105 watt panels. And I really like the clean, aerodynamic Instapark mounts with no screws through the roof.Re: Two RVsI have a 27 foot BT Cruiser and a 36 foot Monaco Windsor with the 8.3 diesel. When it is just the wife and I traveling, we use the BT Cruiser and pull a Mazda3 on a dolly. When we pull our 7800 pound race car trailer with four people, we use the diesel pusher. It handles the trailer just great.Re: Generac 40G Hard StartI went out this evening to check for clearance of the plastic cover and found it OK. But doing so, I found the choke to be traveling a very limited amount. Before I could figure out how to adjust it, the mosquitos ran me back into the house. I will try again tomorrow. Thanks for the suggestion BTP01.Re: Generac 40G Hard StartThe Troubleshooting Chart in the Generac manual doesn't address the problem I'm having. Perhaps I should adjust the choke to apply more strongly. Anyone else with a Generac 40G experiencing failure to start with remote? Spins, but no start without partially closing the throttle manually.Generac 40G Hard StartOur Generac 40G generator won't start with remote. The governor opens the throttle wide open when it attempts to start, but will not start. If I go to the generator and partially close the throttle, it starts right away. Anybody know a fix for this? I am new to Generac generators.Re: Paint Color, B T CrusierFound it. It is 11 Pewter Metallic, GM WA382E. It looks like it will be easy to find with this information. Thanks ron for sending me back to the RV until I finally found the right label.Re: Paint Color, B T CrusierThanks again ronfisherman. I went back and looked again for a paint label. The fifth label I found was the paint info! It was a small sticker saying "Herr Custom Paint, 11 Pewter". Now I will just have to figure out how to do something with "11 Pewter".Re: Paint Color, B T CrusierThanks ronfisherman. I checked and the BT Cruiser does have a specs sheet in the kitchen cabinet. But no information on color listed on it. The truck has a paint code, YZ, which is Oxford White. But Gulfstream added the lower paint. And the lower paint, of course, is what needs touch-up in several areas.Paint Color, B T CrusierMy 2004 B T Cruiser needs some touch-up on the "gold" color on the lower body. I expect it is a Ford color, maybe Cypress Gold Frost or Pueblo Gold Has anyone figured out the color to allow buying a touch-up paint?Ceiling StainI purchased a motorhome which had set unused for six years. It survived that so well that I am shocked. No big problems after batteries were replaced. Even the generator is OK. A few trips have shown it to be in good shape. But one problem. The antenna had leaked, staining the light colored carpet-like ceiling. We used OxyClean on it, mixed one scoop to 16 oz. It just changed the stain darker! Has anyone discovered a solution to this?
