PowerMax Boondocker adjustable 60A@ RDMueller So is the Powermax still working good ? Any problems with it?Re: Powermax boondocker charger problem landyacht318 wrote: If voltmeter does not alight plugged into 120vAC, but not hooked batteries, unit is no good. Return under warranty. Voltmeter will stay alit when unplugged from grid, and still hooked to batteries. I could'nt find any info on the Best rv convertors website describing warranty. Like complete replacement or do they fix the one that does'nt work? I also never could and still cant find on the website as were to down load operations manual , It does say ,,,,,,you can download manuals from the link section but there no where to be found. I'll have to contact customer service.Re: Powermax boondocker charger problemlandyacht318 ThankyouRe: Powermax boondocker charger problem landyacht318 wrote: So this behavior is new? YOu've done this with depleted batteries before and it seeked 14.8v and held it for as long as you ran the generator, and now it does not? My friend has the 100 amp adjustable model and the Pot drifted a bit after the first use. I had marked 14.7 and 13.6 on the dial unloaded, but after the first use these marks were out of whack when unloaded. But the new markings have not swayed. I've been charging with the Powermax for about 2 months , Its always worked but just acted a little screwy sometimes , Normally I adjust it up to 14.8 v and the voltmeter reading goes up along with me moving the dial ,,,, but there's been 3 or 4 times when I turn up the dial to the 14.8 v mark but the voltage reading doesn't follow instantly , the voltage does normally finally go up to were I sit it (14.8v) . Today when I set the dial to 14.8 v the voltmeter reading didn't move at all and didn't even act like it was trying to move. Fuses look good I disconnected it from the batteries and plugged it in to the wall 110 volt,,, when I flip the Powermaxes on/off switch to on it illuminates , voltmeter doesn't turn on at all. Voltmeter does work when the batteries are connected.Re: Powermax boondocker charger problem@ landyacht318 I don't know the exact amp flow but my Propex furnace blinks 2 times telling me that the batteries aren't providing it enough juice.Powermax boondocker charger problemHonda eu2000i Powermax boondocker BPCM-75 2 Sams club gc2 golf batteries 4 gage wire The Powermax charger is hardwired to 2 samsclub gc2 golf batteries. Typically I adjust the charge voltage to 14.8 volts and leave it then after about 14 minutes it automatically drops down to 13.6 volts , when I see it drop to 13.6v I adjust the voltage knob back up until Powermaxes voltmeter reads 14.8 volts again ,,,, and then it seems to stay at 14.8 volt until I shut it down ,,, I typically run it for 2-3 hours. The problem is now and then when I set the Powermaxes dial to 14.8 it acts like it doesn't want to go up , (the voltage goes up slowly) and finally gets to 14.8v, E.g I start the generator and then go dial the Powermaxes charge voltage up to 14.8 and nothing would change or the voltage would slowly climb to 14.8 volt and finally get to 14.8. Now its like the voltage adjusting knob isn't working at all.Re: Size and thread pitch of Honda eu2000i oil fillYou could take the Hondas oil plug to Menards/Homedepot hardware department , the'd probably tell you the thread you need.
