ok, thanks for the insights everyone! In the spirit of giving more knowledge for someone else searching this info out, I'll post the pics of where I removed the old moldings, and cleaned and prepped the surfaces for new. I've found a source for molding, probably going to go with UM-3011BR 1.25inch Flexline molding. Will need to scrape more of the older urethane out of the crevices to install and reseal the new molding while leaving the windshield in place. I've been doing a lot of research on getting the right molding to replace the old stuff on the windshield of an 88 Winnebago. It's of this style: The old one is coming off and it just so happens, it's hard to find a direct replacement. I'm definitely looking for suggestions, and appreciate some help on selecting something that's going to be the best solution. The strip being replaced looks like this, and its 1 1/2 inches wide. Hi Hows it going? I see this is an older post. I wanted to give some feedback and add some details about this particular fuel pump relay to replace GM 15528707. This post is about the only place online I see anything about a replacement, maybe someone has tried it already other than D.E. Bishop. Either way, I want to give some feedback about this relay and the electrical diagrams. So then I get the relay in the mail, and have no idea of the pinouts. What happened is the diagram stamped on the body of the 1R1240 relay is different from what rock auto, or any online supplier provides in their product sample image. I was able to find the relay and a pigtail connector online. AIRTEX/WELLS 1R1240 AIRTEX/WELLS 1P1030 Airtex provides these diagrams: Original Relay Diagram: This would be the original workaround diagram for GM 15528707 . I haven't installed or tried this out yet. I'm not even sure if my vapor locking issue is related... but it's one more point of elimination.692Views0likes0Comments
