FYI 1. I did make sure that the intake and tank where both clean. 2. I bought and installed a new factory fuel pump. 3. I also bought the new adapter pigtail but it turned out that I didn't need it as my motor home was built later in the year and had the new one on it. 4. no need to rewire anything it just plugged in, I tested it before installing it and the pump came on and worked when I first turned the key on. thanks for your help folks417Views0likes0Commentsf53 fuel pump
I have a 96 Damon Ultra sport with 25K miles on it . its been setting up for a few years and I would like to get it back on the road. after installing all new batteries I'm getting no fuel. so I have pulled the fuel tank and drained it. also found that the fuel pump was not working. after testing the new fuel pump before installing it and installing the tank I turned on the key and could hear the fuel pump for a short time. for what ever reason the new pump is now pumping any fuel. I have removed the tank and pump again and tested the wire plug at the pump and I am getting elec. at the pump but the pump will not come on. anyone have any ideas. Phil2.1KViews0likes10Comments
