I want to replace the center lights and add individual spot lights in the front of the coach. The ceiling has 4 or 5ft sections with a strip that goes from one side of the wall to the other. I am unsure how to take the ceiling down and don't what to make things worse by pulling things out. You knowledge and advise are very welcome. Thanks, RandyRe: 2001 HR Endeavor Oil fill CapEngine is cummins 8.3 ISC2001 HR Endeavor Oil fill CapI know, dumb question but going to ask anyway. I have a 2001 HR Endeavor 38 and wanting to change my oil. When I open the back door of the coach I see on the right a small sticker that says engine oil and I see two caps. One is has a bigger opening and the smaller one below it is the dip stick. I have opened the floor doors inside the coach to trace where these two pipes go. The bigger of the two (top one) seems to go into the top of the motor to what looks like a gear drive type cover and the other goes down into the block/pan. I'm not sure if this is the oil fill tube or maybe I should just fill from inside the coach where I see a oil cap on top of the motor. I know this sound silly but I can't seem to find any pics or info and what this bigger hose at the back of the coach goes to. Thanks,Re: Onan 7500 diesel gen setThanks everyone for the inputs. I plan to do a full service this weekend. From hour comments, it sounds like I'm just reading (hearing) too much into it. Will feel much better after I complete the service and start fresh. Thanks everyoneOnan 7500 diesel gen setGenerator surges off and on after putting a load to it. Just got the coach last weekend so looking at doing complete maintenance, oil/filter both the coach and gen set, fuel filters, etc.. Would this be a concern or maybe the gen set is telling me it's time for service? Thanks, RandyOpinions... 98' Endeavor 34 or 01' Endeavor 38Another newbie to the site. Wife and I test drove a 1998 Endeavor 34 and a 2001 Endeavor 38. No contract per se, however we did give a deposit for the 98' Endeavor. Now after some research I see that there are potential problems the the "53" blocks on the 5.9 cummins which I believe the 98' has. Our 1st go round in coaches and don't want to start with a problem so let's hear the pro's and con's for both. These coaches are 3 hrs away so to just pop over and check things is not easy. After reading the forum for several weeks I seek and respect your opinions as most everyone out there has more experience than I. Wife and I were able to test drive both yesterday (Springfield, MO) and both felt very stable on the highway. The 98' was not a snappy off the line as the 01' but once on the highway it ran very well at 65mph. On one longer hill the 98' downshifted once to about 2000 rpm and the 01' downshifted once and back and down again on the same hill. At this point my plan is to go back down pulling my trade and take a look under the 98' to see if I can find the "53" stamp on the 98'. In the longer term of future vacations maybe the longer 01' might be a stronger consideration (other than money of course). There is about $10K between the two coaches so that is a factor as well.
