You're right your comment was much more helpful mine.Re: Dometic Roof Top AC Cycling - No 2I think I figured out it is going to be an expensive trip to the dealer. AC started smoking. At least it is at the end of the summer. Shouldn't be any more trips that open windows won't handle this season. Got all winter to get her fixed before next summer. Any advice on what to look for in a replacement?Re: How do i flush the toilet on a 2004 27bh?I some times have things roll under the foot valve that prevent the foot valve from functioning properly. You may check to make sure you don't have something hidden from view underneath it.Dometic Roof Top AC Cycling - No 2I am seeing somethimg similar but slightly different to what was posted in the first question on this topic on a 5 year old Dometic rooftop AC. In my situation it sounds like it is cycling the compressor even if the unit is switched off. It can be quite load at times. It just started this weekend. The only way I have found to get it to stop is by throwing the breaker. But as soon as you turn it on it starts again. My fear is this sounds lik an expensive trip back to the dealer. Any thoughts?Re: roof top Dometic A/C cycling problemI am seeing somethimg similar but slightly different out of a 5 year old Dometic rooftop AC where it sounds like it is cycling the compressor even if the unit is switched off. If you or anyone else has information on the park I would be very appreciative.Gulf Breeze RV Resort in Gulf Shores, ALDoes anyone have any experience with Gulf Breeze RV Resort in Gulf Shores, AL? My wife, daughter and I usually stay at Gulf State Park Campground, but due to a last minute schedule change we had to give up our reservation and look for something else. We love Gulf State Park and would like to know how Gulf Breeze compares. Any input would be greatly appreciated.Brakes not working after blown tireOn our last trip we had some rather serious tire issues on our Passport. One tire completely threw the tread cap off and 2 others threw 1/2 of the tread cap off. Based on my pre-season inspection I knew the tires were due to be replaced and I was actually planning to replace all 4 tires the following weekend. I guess I pushed them about 1/2 a trip too far. Anyway, since the near blow out I noticed that my trailer brakes are not working on any of the four wheels. I checked all of the wiring at the hubs and did not see anything broken or pulled out. I verified that all of the electrical connections at the pig tail junction box were in place. I also switched brake controllers between our trucks (same controller and same trucks) and I got the same results. Finally I pulled the emergency break away braking pin and it did absolutely nothing. I did notice that both brake controllers which normally give a numerical read out while breaking were not displaying anything. They also were giving me an nc (not connected) code when I would start up the truck. Normally if hooked up to the camper I would get a c (connected) code. So, any thoughts on what I should check next to solve this mystery? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.Re: Campgrounds near Owensboro KYWe stayed the weekend at Diamond Lake Resort. The RV park was very nice. It looked like there was plenty to do during the on season (water slide, bumper boats, paddle boats, go carts, swimming pool, etc). They were very reasonably priced for a full hook up site with access to a heated bath house and laundry facility during the off season. The site was about 20 min from the in-laws house, which is much closer than the 3 hours we live from them. Once again thank you for the reco from Kentucky Rambler!Re: Campgrounds near Owensboro KYKentucky Rambler - thank you for the recos! These are very helpful and the phone numbers are awesome.
