I will check it out tomorrow and see what it looks like. if it appears that it can be moved up next time I have it serviced I will see if they will do it. That sounds like more than I want to mess with. I would hate to do it wrong and really mess it up. From checking out different things on the web it sounds like my 5 to 5 1/2 inch clearance is good. For most vehicles they say that 4 - 6 inch clearance is good. I assume that an RV would not be any different.Re: Snap Pad Jack PadsThe front axel clearance is about 7 inches. As for any excess clearance at the top of the jack calendars it appears that they are full retraced. When they are down the shaft is shinny and when retracted you cannot see any of the shinny metal. Can you tell this is the first RV we have had with leveler jack? :>)Snap Pad Jack PadsI just installed a set of Snap Pad jack pad covers onto our 2017 Baystar. I have to admit I did not pay attention to the clearance before installing. After I have them on the clearance from the bottom of the jack to the ground is about 5 to 5 1/2 inches on the front jacks. In the rear it is about 9 inches. I contacted the company that makes the leveling system (Equalizer Systems) and they say the normal distance is 7-8 inch clearance. I was wondering if anyone else has installed Snap Pads and what your all thoughts are on safe driving with a 5 inch clearance in front.Re: WiFi BoosterThank you everyone. I have some good ideas now. As I am not too worried about security as we just use the WiFi for streaming and other minor stuff like that for the amount of time we are on the road in the RV I am not sure a "service" would be worth the extra cash. Thanks again. MikeWiFi BoosterWe sometimes have issues with park WiFi signals being low while in our rig. I was wondering what others to to improve this. I see there are may plug in units as well as roof installed. What is most popular and works well.Re: 2017 Newmar BaystarWould love to but I am not sure how.Re: 2017 Newmar BaystarHey Shot-N-Az . Maybe you can answer this question for me. In the bay where the Tank/City Water valve is there are two lines running down the back wall through the bottom of the bay. There is a label next to them saying "Low Point Drain" Are these the overflow drains for the fresh water tank? The valves were closed when we brought it home. P.S. they are right below the fresh water tank.Re: 2017 Newmar BaystarThanks again Gary for the tip on the icemaker line. I do have to figure out how to get to that and either turn it off or bypass it. I think there is something about that in the owner's manual.Re: 2017 Newmar BaystarLwiddis. I have had experience in this but we have only had this rig a couple weeks and it was left to me by my sister so no verbal "how to" talks. When we go on long trips I always like to fill the fresh water tank half way to always have water if needed. We use Camco TastePure Drinking Water Freshener for RV and Marine Fresh-Water Tank in the tank to keep it from going stale.Re: 2017 Newmar BaystarThanks Shot-N-Az. That makes perfect sense. When I was trying the other day I think the main problem I may have had was that I also had the water connected to the rig. So when adding chems I should have "fill tank" open and when winterizing I should have "city water" on? Don't know about your Newmar but our Baystar has the Tank/city valve in one bay and the pump and winterizing hose in the next. Wish it was all in the same bay. Found the valves for the water heater under the sink in the rig. May just have to spend the $100 to take it down and let a tech show me how. Our Coachmen was a breeze as everythoing was in one hook up with labeled valves. Thanks for your help.
