I really like this feature, but want to know if there are others I can add to my short list.Re: What's this RV? She said the only name she could find was the one on the back corner, but couldn't remember by the time she went got home from class.Re: Are CB radios still used? bigred1cav wrote: I do have a smart phone. I don't use it while driving. I do have a CB and do not get much talk on it. My interest is in why my CB doesn't pick up truckers blabbering? IMO, it's worth getting the CB peaked and tuned. I used to live close to a truck stop that did it fairly cheap. After their work was done it was sending and receiving much farther and clearer.Re: What's this RV? Or is there a reason most are Fords?Re: What's this RV?On a different forum, I was once warned for posting pictures of someone else's car. Something about it not being my property, blah blah, someone was on a power trip, so I just thought I'd apologize in advance :CRe: What's this RV?Wow, fast response :) I tried imbedding the pic, but didn't work, so I edited and added the link. What's this RV?I figure it's a class A, assuming gasser, but was curious what make/model. Very new to all of this, but it has a slightly different look. Sorry if this is frowned upon, but it's a common occurrence on other forums I belong to. Edit: Pic won't show, maybe I need more posts. Until then, here's the link...http://s11.photobucket.com/user/CreemCheese/media/IMG_20130821_163535_069.jpg.htmlRe: Short diesel (pusher) 2gypsies wrote: If you're seeing things as you drive in multiple states, then you're not really 'seeing things'. You are in a rush. Park the RV in a campground and spend at least two nights, if not more, in an area to really explore that area. Towing a vehicle or pulling a trailer and having the tow vehicle for excursions is the only relaxing way to explore an area. Towing a vehicle is so simple. It's not a hassle. Good luck finding what you want. What made us initially start thinking about an RV was we would eventually like to take a trip from Ohio to the grand canyon. Last time I was out there, we went from NM, around Grand Canyon for a while, hoover dam, then into Vegas all in one day. Then we went from Vegas, to Sequoia, Redwoods, through San Francisco, up the coast to Washington all the next day. I know I didn't see it all, but I also didn't really feel like I was rushed at any time during that. Our current vehicles are flatbed only according to the owners manual.
