Now that you have found it's a power gear I will give you the party line, and what I found (not the same) Party line is a 3/4 inch nut on one end (usually toward the vehicle rear) You release the brake (Lever under a rubber cap on the motor) and wrench it in.. Easy peasy right (NOT ON YOUR LIFE at least on my RV) I wound up using a pipe wrench on the square shaft and all the strength I had. After that I went to the gears on each end. Pulled the hair pin. Knocked the gear (And shaft) to the side (Toward the tranny) so it released Collected the plastic bushing/washer thing and just pushed the slide in and out by hand.. I'm over 300 pounds and over 6' tall so I can get real real pushy Out was easy. in was a witch (Push in just a couple inches at one end. then the other (2x that Then 2x that on the first end. and keep this up for about oh say six or 8 inches THen get pushy and push in as far as you can) Use the locking rod when it's in Very tight. To push out I have a spot in the center which happens to be the end of a couch. I bumped each end out a few inches to make room. then putting my back against the kitchen cabinets I put my feet against the couch and straightened my legs. As I said I'm very pushy. Got it unstuck. Had to open the belly of the RV where I found the shaft, with a 5/8 socket and a few turns I got it un stuck.Re: A/C not workingIt's the power gear. I found it under the RV where the motor sits inside the belly cover there's a 1'x1' cover there. I'll work on it after work today. I'm wondering if it could be the switch.Re: A/C not workingI want to take this time to thank everyone for their help. It turned out to be a bad breaker. New issue, kitchen slide is stuck shut. can hear it clicking like it does when it closes all the way. Fro the life of me I can't find the location to manually crank it out. Seems as I fix one problem another one takes it's place. It's a 2008 Komfort TrailBlazer 277 fithwheel.Re: A/C not working enblethen wrote: What part of "lower Washington State"? on the wet side...VancouverA/C not workingThe A/C isn't working neither is the fan. I can hear a slight click but nothing turns. I went to the roof and checked the fan there and it turns fine by hand. any idea where I should start? Thanks in advance.Re: front landing gear motor Durb wrote: Try loosely chocking your trucks tires (to allow some movement), then place your truck in neutral when raising the front of the trailer. Use blocks under your landing gear to keep your legs as short as possible to prevent binding. I haven't tried the neutral of the truck, but I do use blocks under the jacks. thanks for the tip I'll try it this weekend if my gear box gets here.Re: front landing gear motorI have plans of getting a new one soon,Re: front landing gear motorWe worked on the landing gear. We used a bunch of penetrating oil, and got the legs to move. Then we used 30 weight in the worm gears to get then working freely. Lubed everything with lithium grease. Waiting on the gear box to arrive as the old one has a broken part. Thanks guys for the help!front landing gear motorThe fuse keeps blowing on my front landing gear motor. Trying to extend the legs to hook up. The rv is an '08 Trailblazer 227. it has a 30A fuse. could this be because when using the Anderson hitch the RV would move back on the legs? What do I do?
