All ActivityMost RecentMost LikesSolutionsPoor cell serviceWe are currently at a thousand trails in Acton CA. No cell service for our T-Mobile phones. Up where the bars show it goes to ‘SOS’. And when we drive out we have to turn the phone off and back on before it gets a signal again. Never seen the SOS thing before.Re: Oil changesMy husband has a very bad back. He can barely still use the MH much less crawl around underneath itRe: Oil changesThe RV service places here are too busy at this time to get in.Furnace won’t lightMh was parked all winter. Yesterday morning we used both furnaces and they worked fine. This morning the front furnace comes on blowing for a minute then shuts down. What should we check first?Oil changesYesterday we went to the Phoenix (Tolleson) Speedco/loves. Used to always go to Speedco before they joined with Loves. We were there about 10 am and they told us it would be a couple hours. We decided not to wait and went on to Scottsdale where we were headed. At 8pm last night they called and were ready for us!! Next week will be back in Yuma so I guess we’ll try and find a mobile guy to come do the oil change. What do all you guys do for oil changes??Re: Go Pro cameraWe bought an Akaso and it just came yesterday. Gonna try it on the motorcycle todayRe: Insurance recommendationsThe skylight was 300 and we have 500 deductible. But hubby has a really bad back so we really don’t like the roof stuff. But we did it today. So it’s all done now.Solar chargerWe bought a 50 watt solar panel to put on our batteries when in storage. Today we went and checked it after two days hooked up and the wires by the controller were all melted! Why would this happen? We were clamped to positive and negative correctly. We were clamped to one of the brand new 12 volt batteries that we had just installed. Nothing at all was running in the motorhome when we were clamped on.Insurance recommendationsWe were full time til one year ago. Had Progressive insurance and they were always pretty good til now. We had something break out our skylight and when turning in a claim they told us they don’t even have an adjuster in Yuma. Have to wait for them to come down from Phoenix. We could tell from our conversation that it would be several weeks so we just did it ourselves. Anyway we would like to change insurance and maybe find someone who had actual adjusters in yuma. Any ideas?Go Pro cameraI know you RVnet people are the smartest. Wanted some suggestions please. My husband is thinking he would like to put a camera on the motorcycle to film trips. This would be just for us to watch later. We have no plans to put them on utube or anything like that. Without breaking the bank, what kind of camera would we need, so we could plug it into our laptop, or our TV to watch later.
