Here they are in case others might need them: GVWR 10,360 GCWR 13,500 Dry Weight 8,203 Wet Weight 8,746 UVW 8,378 Cargo Carrying Capacity Max 1,938 Cargo Carrying Capacity Min. 1,448 GAWR F Axle 4,130 GAWR R Axle 7,275 I hope that with all this weight information I can figure out what I can tow and in what configuration. Thanks to all who have responded to my initial question. Your responses have been very helpful.A novice's question about towing a car behind a Class CWe are new to having an RV and are in the process of taking delivery on a 2017 Winnebago Fuse. We are interested in taking a car along on trips and have been looking at various sites concerning options for the toad. The GCWR for the Fuse is 13,500 pounds and the GVWR is 10,360 pounds so if I understand what I have read, this leaves a Tow Rating of 3,140 pounds. At this point we have a 2011 Ford Escape and a 2013 Subaru Impreza. I am afraid the curb weight of both of these cars might stretch the limit on the Tow Rating. Ford curb rating 3,268-3477 and Subaru curb weight from 2911-3087. Am I correct in this? Further, I have read about reported problems with flat towing a Ford Escape although the reports are mixed. I don't want to tow a vehicle only to arrive at a destination with a fried transmission! Further, I believe the Subaru has to be dolly towed and then we might get into a tow rating weight problem. I am open to any and all suggestions and thanks to all for your time and advice in responding to this very green RV novice.Re: New to the RV World with a QuestionTHANKS to all of you who responded to my question with great advice. As we entered this RV world I am sure I will have more questions and as time passes perhaps some answers to assist other newbies to this exciting new adventure. Thanks again. PS to RckyMtnVia – we do live in Colorado … Windsor to be exact and I did look at the online inventory of TransWest but I think we are going to purchase the 2107 Winnebago Fuse from LazyDays in Loveland which is about 5 miles from our house.New to the RV World with a QuestionI have never owned or traveled in an RV so I am a COMPLETE NOVICE. However, as I am now retired and would like to travel with a friend and our little dog and since airplane travel is becoming more of a chore we have been looking at RVs at two dealers - Lazy Days and Camping World. At this point, we have narrowed the possibilities to the following - Winnebago Fuse 23T and the Thor Freedom Elite 26HE (possibly the 23H). There is a fair difference in final price between the Winnebago and the Thors and, as one would expect, pros and cons for both. If anyone in this forum would like to give us newbies some sage advice we would be most grateful. Just a note - we do not plan on taking long trips but rather use the RV for one to two week long excursions. Thanks in advance for your advice.
