Ask the dealer, manufacturer. He asked the dealer first and they had no clue (Camping World) and said call the manufacturer. He has done that but I haven't heard from him as to what he found out.Water pump/filter locationMy next door neighbor recently purchased a 2023 Nexus Triumph 31 T Class C motor home. They traded in their travel trailer for it so there is somewhat of a learning curve and I am helping him even though I have a travel trailer also. The problem we are facing is the location of the water pump and/or water filter. We can hear where it is running but there is no obvious place to access it. We also do not know if the filter is near the pump or is located elsewhere Any help on how to find these will be appreciated. BTW, he is not on this forum so I am asking for him. Thanks in advance.Re: headed to Myrtle BeachIf you are staying on the south end (Ocean Lakes, Lakewood, Pirateland) then staying on 17 will be your best bet, but do try to avoid weekends. If staying on the north end (Apache, Myrtle Beach Travel Park, Briarcliff) then follow 17 to 707 to 31 to 22. 31 will bypass all the rest of MB and 22 will drop you right into the road to MBTP and Apache and Briarcliff will be just up 17 on the left.Auto leveling questionWe recently bought our 4th Flagstaff, a 2018 831RKBSS. This one has the auto leveling feature on it, which is the first one (of 6 total campers) that has ever had it. I have been experimenting with it here at home in its parking spot and it is a nice feature. One concern though is when I turned off shore power to test it with the battery only, the battery charge dropped to below the threshold it needed to complete the leveling. The battery is new and was fully charged. Is this normal? My only concern would be if we were dry camping w/o power. Thanks for any insight.Re: Blue Ridge Parkway - Early April valhalla360 wrote: Hokiehall wrote: There is a section of the parkway in Virginia that is closed south of Roanoke from mile post 121.4 - 135.9 at Adney Gap due to a slope failure from heavy rains. A detour is in place. Luckily we hit that driving just the truck...the "detrour" was a sign about 200ft before the closed gate with no drive or other means to turn around. With the trailer, we would have had to back up quite a ways to the next drive where we could turn around. Another section at Roanoke will be closed to replace a bridge over the Roanoke River at MP 112. This will be within a few weeks and will last at least a year.Re: Blue Ridge Parkway - Early AprilThere is a section of the parkway in Virginia that is closed south of Roanoke from mile post 121.4 - 135.9 at Adney Gap due to a slope failure from heavy rains. I opened them about an hour ago.Re: Slide topper questionThanks everyone! I just got back from talking to one of the technicians at my dealer and he told me the same thing. Open and use and just be careful when closing back to make sure any ice/snow has melted.Slide topper questionWe recently traded our old camper in on a new one. The new one has slide toppers whereas the old one didn't. We have a probable rain/ice storm coming in the next day or so. On the old camper I just opened up the slides and turned on the refrigerator in preparation to live in it in case of a prolonged power outage. With the toppers I am leery of opening them up, but if I don't I can't use the heat since the slides cover the floor vents. Question is Will is be ok to open the slides or not? I don't want to damage the toppers but at the same time don't want to freeze in the house. I can access the refrigerator so that is no problem. Thanks in advance.Blue Ridge Parkway closureDue to heavy rains in the Roanoke VA area a section of the Blue Ridge Parkway was washed out and is closed until further notice.
