The receiver pin is threaded and has a lock. I use it on my fifth wheel and trust it with my expensive mountain bikes.Re: Need help to buy Rv Trayler gcosio wrote: It is true that I do not handle the terms of some phrases or words in the English language correctly I apologize to the Annoyed. Jury still out for me. Wasn't really enamored with 10, don't want my computer desktop looking like a cell phone screen. 11 continues with that and I've experienced several "freeze" episodes since 11 was installed. Also massive bloatware. Good thing the computer has a 1 TB hard drive. What kind of Bloatware does it install?Re: Windows 11 agesilaus wrote: I see a comment on Reddit that win 11 shuts down Firefox. That's a problem for me. It prevents you from selecting it as the default browser - heres how to do that on Win 11 https://www.howtogeek.com/767462/how-to-change-the-default-web-browser-on-windows-11/Windows 11My laptop is telling me to upgrade to win 11. Anyone go from 10 to 11 yet?Re: Which years of Outdoors RV's had corrugated siding? My previous TT was corrugated aluminum sided. Agree with all the points that carringb made and will add that keeping it clean was a nightmare. The siding oxidizes and the only thing that removed it was Meguires Cleaner wax. The wax would wear off and oxidation would begin again. Maybe look at units a few years old - at least to see how they are holding up.Re: RVs over 10 years old are valuelessThese types of rules are usually cooked up by so called RV Resorts. We used to enjoy staying at these types of places as well, our favorite being Hilton Head Harbor - at least until last year when they changed their rules to this, quoted directly from their web site: Hilton Head Harbor Policy wrote: We accept bumper pull travel trailers, 5th wheel travel trailers, hybrid campers and motor coaches. We cannot accept park models, destination trailers or tents or travel trailers that exceed our size limits. Due to our POA covenants, we do not accept pull behind travel trailers with slides or 5th wheel travel trailers with slides and they cannot exceed 35ft in length or 8 ft in width in their fully installed condition (which are to include tip outs and slide outs). There's an older gentleman who lives there full time in a very old Airstream, so old units are OK I guess. I say oh well as our Thanksgiving trip this year will be at an awesome SC state park in a huge pull through site with a lake view. No leaf blowers at 8:00 am there...Re: Suggestions for a shorter 5’ver…You didn't ask for 1/2 ton tow-able, but that's where you will find what you are looking for.
