Nice! I just bought my coach and noticed a harsh ride with the Bilsteins that were installed. Thought I give koni a shot before the wife wants a diesel with air suspension. I did notice that the dust covers were filthy on the Bilsteins that I took off...that's why I was curious if I should install them on the koni's. I too have the super steer track bar on the rear, along with air bags. I also just purchased the safe t plus. My goal is to be able to make the wife as comfortable as possible if I every need her to drive...which is a stretch goal.321Views0likes0CommentsRe: 2004 hurricane 30q
Well I can tell you the ford dealer was no help. Called them, gave the specifics, said he had one...but quickly noticed that the bolt was only a fraction of the size that was needed. The parts guy could not help any further. I then went to fastenal and the worker found one in the store in a minute.122Views0likes0Comments2004 hurricane 30q
Just purchased my first motorhome, which is a decent 2004 hurricane 30q on the f53 chassis. With 56k on it, i decided to upgrad the shocks to the koni fsd's. I could only finish 3 out of 4, because the last rear shock has a frozen bolt...the nut came off just the bolt is stuck in the shocks metal sleeve. So I am going to cut it out, but I cannot seem to find the part number for the bolt. Could anyone help me out with this? Not sure if the weight matters, but it is 15,700.763Views0likes2Comments
