I'll post what will hopefully be an uneventful visit.Re: Hydraulic Stabilizers / Driveway damageThanks to everyone for the feedback.Hydraulic Stabilizers / Driveway damageWhile visiting my son next week, we plan to park our 18000 Lbs motorhome in his driveway. We also plan to use it while we are there, which means I would deploy the hydraulic stabilizers and 3 slideouts. My son's driveway is poured concrete, still I know every driveway is different. I'm concerned about damaging his driveway. I'd like to hear from those of you that have deployed stabilizers in your concrete driveway for vehicles in my weight range. Did anyone end up cracking the driveway? ThanksRe: Why no Tundra love on this site?I had an '07 Tundra 4x4 long bed, 5.7 L, double cab to pull my 30' 7500 Lb TT... It worked just fine for road trips with DW and two grandkids.. Took us all over the East Coast including the Poconos and Smokies. If you're looking at a 1/2 ton truck you'll do just fine with a Tundra. Once your payload exceeds the 1/2 ton range.. you're in another market.Re: Bad experience in Yulee,FL Bumpyroad wrote: just looked at it in google earth. looks like a dump, I wouldn't chose that one myself. bumpy Just looked at it in google earth. looks like a (toxic) dump site. .... :)Re: Best Sewer Hose tgr2975 wrote: To the OP. Have you thought about calling the dealer, and ask the sales manager if you can get your hose out of the tt? I expect they won't leave it in your old RV. Just a thought. :R they're 580 miles away... I don't see them fishing for and then mailing a 5+ yr old hose..Re: batteries gbopp wrote: The 12 Volt Side of Life. Interesting and informative. That link/website is a classic... everything I ever wanted to know about connecting batteries. Relied on it every time I thought batteriesBest Sewer HoseI left my Rhino extreme hose in the bumper of the TT I just traded in :S It's worked great for.. years.. less than ten but more than 5... The question is what should I buy.. Viper or another Rhino Extreme.. or is there something else out there that's better... ? Aside from the brand issue .. I'm inclined to buy two.. 10' lengths... What do you think is the best lengths to have?. Thanks in advance for your input..Re: Shrinking the Truth... and again... thank you to everyone for the well balanced feedback :)Re: Shrinking the TruthMy question is strictly one of "ethics". We go to this campground every summer for a week with our grandkids. The sites are huge and they currently accommodate my 30" TT and my 20' truck, total 50' even though they list the sites at 35'. So I know I'm going to fit, with a class A that's 37" long with a 13' dinghy. It's the 50 Ft. sliced a little different. I"m not driving blind into a place I don't know. And yes there are exceptions to everything.. I just wondered if I might be breaking some unwritten rule that everyone abides by. Thanks for your comments
