And I also think that in a few years there will be an abundance of used RVs for sale by people who bought because of Covid restrictions.Re: Changed the rear springsIf you are over your payload allowance then you might need a bigger truck. I had Firestone Ride Rite air bags on our 2008 Chevy 2500 and liked them but the rig was well within payload specs.Re: Anyone pulling a Montana 3120 with a SRW short bed? rhagfo wrote: Cummins12V98 wrote: Michelle.S wrote: Everyone always says Duallys are no good in snow. When I was still working, my Dually was my "Go To Vehicle" during snow storms. Now I did have approx 700 or 800 pounds of sand bags in the box all behind the axles. I traveled 50 miles one way to work in Rochester, NY with Lake Effect from Lake Ontario. If roads were real bad, slow down and put it into 4 wheel high and motor on passing all the little 4x4 SUVs in the medium. My friend in NW WA has a 13 RAM DRW he uses for his Landscaping Business. I asked him how his truck did in the snow this winter. "It handled awesome with 30psi in the rear tires doing my snow melt and sidewalk shoveling maintenance." It is those that run their DRW tires at 80 psi, because that is what is on the sidewall! The TPMS probably won't like running the tires at 30 psi.Re: CG in Central FL With Golf Cart Access to StoresLooks like a good location roughly equal distance between Tampa and Orlando. A "Deluxe" seasonal site is $4300 plus electric. It does specifically say direct access to Walmart via golf cart. Great! https://www.cypresscampground.comRe: CG in Central FL With Golf Cart Access to Stores johnhicks wrote: Cypress CG in Winter Haven is next to Walmart, has specific off-street golf cart access to Walmart, a bank and other shops. Some CG residents work at Walmart. Also, in that area, deliveries are available from Walmart, Winn-Dixie, Publix, Aldi, CVS and ABC Liquors. We're a bit west of Winter Haven across US-27; we haven't been inside a supermarket since March 2020. Thanks John for your reply. This sounds exactly what we would be looking for. We are just in he beginning stages of research on this and I am embarrassed to say that I have no idea where Winter Haven is. I will check to see if there is a website to the Cypress CG. Thanks again.Re: CG in Central FL With Golf Cart Access to StoresI think the solution might be for us to purchase an inexpensive car that we could use while we stay the winter at our CG in Florida. We would have to find a CG that would allow us to keep the car on the campsite while we are back in Vermont for the summer months.Re: CG in Central FL With Golf Cart Access to StoresThanks everyone for the quick replies. I'm checking them out online now.CG in Central FL With Golf Cart Access to StoresHi. I haven't posted in a while since we sold our fifth wheel and have taken a pause from the RV lifestyle. We are looking into the possibility of becoming "snowbirds" spending summers in Vermont and winters in Florida. Ideally we would like to find a campground that has the ability to access stores (such as grocery store or Walmart etc.) with a golf cart. Thanks for any input.Best Digital TV AntennaHello fellow RVers. This coming summer will be our first "seasonal" at Lakewood CG in West Swanton,Vermont. We would like to know which Digital TV antenna will be best. Will the Winegard "batwing" that came with the camper be sufficient? There are several stations broadcasting within a 60 mile radius. Thanks for any advice.-Andy.Re: I almost lost my gas tank!
