Can someone offer some thoughts about whether an 18 hour drive from Austin, TX to Cedar Key, FL would be worth the trip? I've been to the Florida Keys several times and love the place ... but just too long of a drive with the 5th wheel for a 2 week trip. Cedar Keys looks interesting. We previously owned Airstreams and replaced the vents with this: https://store.airstream.com/product_info.php?products_id=599 I would think it would work for other RVs. This weekend's plans include washing the 5th wheel. When I was on top cleaning the A/C shrouds yesterday, I started wondering if there is any special cleaner or conditioner anyone recommends for cleaning the awnings and keeping them from drying and cracking. Anyone know of an Android cell phone app that: 1. Allows you to enter your departure location and destination location (kind of how MapQuest works), 2. Enter the height of your RV, And the app will: A. Recommend a route to avoid any clearance issues, B. If you select your desired route, it confirms you will have no issues with clearances, C. Or track you via GPS and warn you when you are coming upon a potential clearance issue, D. Or reroute you to avoid clearance issues?
