Thanks for the replies. This helps greatly. Think we'll look to some other places perhaps in the panhandle area of Florida which appears to be about 6 - 8 hours closer.
We previously owned Airstreams and replaced the vents with this:https://store.airstream.com/product_info.php?products_id=599I would think it would work for other RVs. Just need to verify the size works. we were happy with it on the Airstream.
