All ActivityMost RecentMost LikesSolutionsRe: Wireless Back Up Camera on TrailerI have a wireless on our new Pinnacle. So far, no issues losing signal, etc. In fact, I hauled a propane tank to the front office to be filled, noticed the camera monitor still had a clear picture, neighbor kid walked by, saw him perfectly. At least 400 ft from the camper with several units between me and the camera. Trailer was pre-wired for the camera.Re: Poly or steel replacement fuel tank?Check out this link if you want to see how tough a poly tank is. The add was for the fuel sump.........or search for Beans Diesel https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n_GaBRX6SMY2016 PinnaclePicked up our new Jayco 36RSQS yesterday. Traded our 03 Jayco Designer Elite 3610 RLTS. It was a great unit, very little repair over the years other than normal wear items. Had such good service out of it, had to go with another Jayco. Bought from Steve's RV in LaCombe, LA, have always had good service there and this deal was very smooth as well. His son in law Shawn spent 2 hours with us going through all the systems, very thorough and well informed. We added automatic HD satellite on the roof, solar panels to keep batteries charged for the inverter and rear view camera. I also traded the new tires and wheels for the 17.5 Goodyear G114 I had on the old unit. Disc brakes going on the new unit next weekend. Will post reviews after a couple of trips in it. Hope it is half as good as the old unit we had.Re: 5er axle adjustmentsSounds like the OP is looking at the axle alignment cam bolts. Not for raising or lowering, but moving forward and back to square the axles to direction of travel.Re: Chevrolet dealers in Corinth, MS/Florence, AL areas - UPDATEWhen we lived in that area, we used Jim Bishop in Muscle Shoals. Never had an issue with them over several visits. In fact, bought the wifey's car from them.Re: Jayco Aluminum structureMy 03 Designer Elite has the aluminum structure. Beyong that tidbit, I'm not much helpRe: Mystery leak greende wrote: Looks like you should have it pressure tested. I think this would save a lot of time and speculation. Water will travel along framing etc (as already discussed). Now that's a great idea!! ThanksMystery leakMy 5th wheel has a leak coming from somewhere. I have looked everywhere several times, paid two shops to find it, re-worked caulk seams and am stumped. Water comes in the back drivers corner after a hard rain. Slides in or out makes no difference. Re-sealed the exterior lights, ladder and vents. What am I missing?Spring cleaningBeautiful weather in So. LA today. Outside all day cleaning the 5ver, top to bottom, wifey helping all day long. I had recently converted from drum to disc, had a few test miles on the disc install. Pulled the wheels, checked it all out, cleaned the rims and tires, greased the disc calipers and pins with some brake lube. Ready for the summer, until something breaks.Re: SuperGlide Upkeep Seems MajorMine has been in my truck since Dec of '05. I think it has been out twice in that period of time. Never covered. I use the WD40 when I think about it on the rails and spray the latch a couple of times a year. Adjusted slack once, IIRC. I have the SG rails that set on the pins. Never had any issues, works great and I like it.
