You're both wrong. The word Amp comes from the Latin root Ampidextrous, meaning two handed magic death. 50 amp service means that the invisible humor flowing through the wire has enough fresh hell to kill 50 legions of centurions. Each leg can therefore kill 25 legions of centurions, meaning that the entire killing machine is comprised of 2 "hands" @25 Amps("legs" is a modern misinterpretation of the Latin). The best place for all this magic is in the dark where it can't get it's bearings and attack us while we sleep. That is why we sequester it in walls where it is very dark. I've used that backerboard before. works fine. It is, though, kinda designed for a thinset product which I wouldn't use unless you like replacing tiles after every move. The flexing and hammering that go on during a trip to the next state, I think, would be substantial. You need to use a mastic. Talk to your tile guy about additives that make it less attractive to mold. Look into glass tile. I think you'll like it. That stuff you've chosen is too masculine. It will not withstand the test of time. Too dark and Heafner-y. You can have that basic color scheme without looking like a member of the Skull and Bones.
