I pull 2017 Crusader 297RSK with a Titan XD diesel. I fill the truck maybe a little under rated. The trailer weighs right at 10k loaded and hooked to truck not including food and personal stuff. The Titan XD pulls it with out the slightest sweat. Very easy to tow and doesn't need any air bags or other suspension help. you will be fine and surprised buy the ease of the tow! I use a Reese Goose Box on my Crusader 5th wheel and love it. I have had no problems at all with it and never have to refill the air bag.I have 40lbs.of air pressure in it and only greased the one fitting once. It makes the trailer ride smooth and very little bounce.It cost me about the same as a regular 5th wheel hitch.It may be a little more difficult to hook up because the ball is down low in the bed, but I line the truck up to the hitch box with the back up camera first then lower the tail gate and back up the rest of the way. I bought an Evergreen Last year and they went out of business 2 months later. This is our 3rd trailer. We have camped in it 10 times already and it's been a good camper so far. If you like their floor plan and can get a really good deal on one I wouldn't hesitate to make the purchase. All the appliances and A/C, Jacks, Awning and such have there own 3 year warranty. I think you'll be fine if you stay down on the weight. I pull a Rockwood 2701ss ultra lite that is 31' over all length. It weighs in at 5820lbs loaded with all my camping gear (chairs tables,grills supplies) no food or personal stuff. Checked on cat scales. Empty wt 4951. as shipped 5369 hook to truck 5820. It has all the things you mentioned,slide,bunks,room and low weight. I pull it with a 1/2 ton truck with no problems. You would do your self a favor to try to find a ultra lite trailer such as mine. My truck has a tow rating of 9600lbs. and it's very doable. I would not want much more weight or length. By the way our trailer has a tongue wt if 660lbs. stay within these type of limits you should do fine. just my 2cents.509Views0likes0Comments
