We will pull out at 5:30 am and try that route.Charleston to NJ, 95 or 77 to 81?We are heading home from spring break . Kicking around if we should take 95 which will probably be a parking lot or if we should head west to catch 77 to 81 to hopefully avoid the crowds on route 95. Any suggestions? We are trying to beat a Nasty storm with high winds in NJ on sundayRe: Hershey new Price? Not sure, we are season pass holdersRe: Hershey new Price?I am not sure if it is accross the board, but I got a letter for memorial day saying that for 2016 the rate will be 99 a night for full hook up. that is like a 33% increase. We like the sweet start to be able to get into the park early, but i think will will just not get season passes next year like we have been for the past 6-7 years. the 1000 trails is pretty nice in the area, but they do that first come first served, no site reservation. I leave after work on fridays so i would get the worst available.Hershey new Price?Anyone else seen hershey's campground rate change for next year? They will be charging 99 a night! I think that is more than Disney most of the year! Time to not renew Season passes and find somewhere else to camp.......Re: New Dometic Recall Initiated March 11, 2008 B. C. S. wrote: I've taken mine in this past couple of weeks too. My refrig is documented/verified as being one affected by the recall. Dometic was "by good faith, repairing and/or replacing the refrigerators." After April 1st, they no longer are replacing the entire refrigerator! The recall is ONLY for the Secondary burner housing. After numerous calls to my RV dealership and Dometic, they still will not cover any of the charges. B. If you don't like the way dometic decided to change their policy, let your thoughts be know. Here is the email address of their CEO. fredrik.moller@dometic.se I sent something to him expressing my dismay at their change in policy and got something from someone in the US. If enough of us complain, maybe they will change their policy.Re: New Dometic Recall Initiated March 11, 2008norcold was replacing cooling units that failed as part of their recall. Dometic stopped covering on thiers. I want a company that will stand behind their product, come up with a half ass way of preventing the defect from burning down the RV. If dometic had replaced my cooling unit, they would have had a customer for life. Instead I will go out of my way to avoid giving them any business.Re: New Dometic Recall Initiated March 11, 2008The quote i got for dometic replacement cooling unit was 800, and 4 hours labor to replace. Dometic fridge was 900 and 4.5 hours to replace. I get a warranty on one and not the other. I think i will go with norcold new fridge for 1350.Re: New Dometic Recall Initiated March 11, 2008sign me up as well for a class action. I spoke to dometic today and even though they used to relace failed cooling units, they stopped that "act of goodwill" on april of this year and i am out of luck! Looks like time for a new fridge. Dometic had the choice to make a customer for life, or to lose one for life. If they had stood by their product, I would go out of my way to always purchase dometic products. Sadly they have chosen to be shortsighted and anger their customers. I have a long memory and will never do business with them if I have a choice! I will be looking into norcold replacement.
