They could not really explane much more without my coming onsite so they could show me but they took pictures so I can see them when I get a chance to pick it up. Thanks for all the responses, they were good just not the correct thing.Low beams headlights not workingWhat happens when your RV place can't find the issue after hours of looking? High beams work, low beams do not. The high/low beam switch has been checked, the lights have been checked by a direct connect and they work etc.Fresh water tank issuesI have a 2013 Coachmen Encounter, that has been plagues with may problems from day 1. The latest is I finally have a need to sterilize the fresh water tank. BUT there is no way to put in a solution of Clorox and water. It appears to me that the manufacturer used the same type of connector for the fresh water tank as for the city water connection. Thus requiring pressure to put water in the tank. And also there is no vent to let out air when filling like there has been on my other RV's. Any thoughts??? Thanks, MortddRe: Coachman EncounterWe have a 2013 Encounter 37TZ bought in Jan.. 2013 and it has been a headache. The customer service is very slow but there if you don't mind waiting. Sometimes it has been weeks. The 37TZ has 3 slides and one is cable driven. It has been a nightmare for the whole time and I am not convinced it is fixed yet. The cockpit windows have been replaced but they still vibrate on a windy day. No fix it sight for that. We had a phantom water leak in the plumbing which no one ever did find for sure. It was sporadic enough that I cannot be sure that I fixed it yet. I would not buy another Coachmen class A but maybe we just got a bad one.Re: Suggestions for replacing front windshield curtainsWe plan on going with MCD next year. We are going to the factory in Texas to have it done since we will be going by it anyway. Apparently they will do it in one or two days and have full hook ups while you have it done. There is another brand made in Canada, don't remember the name but the company is not good to deal with so I have heard. And if a motor goes bad they make you replace the entire shade.Re: Good Sam Route PlanningThanks Bobged... I have retried it and it does work like you say but limits you to 25 "things-to-do" to put on the trip. It would appear that one would have to break up a trip to get all that is wanted/needed for an entire trip unless I am missing something!Re: Good Sam Route PlanningI have used it several times but I am not happy with it. The old one which I still use allows you to plan a trip showing all rest stops, RV parks, gas etc. all along the way. The new one does not seem to show them except at your different destinations. It appears they have built this for immediate use with apps and not to be used with computers for planning. I like to plan our trips with all the info and print them out. That we we can know ahead of time how far to a rest stop or gas station etc. We do not use smart phones.Re: F53 steering damper, recommendationI put a Safe-T-Plus on my F53 23000 lb 38 ft Class A and it seems to be doing a great job.Good Sam Trip PlannerI find the new Good Sam trip planner about useless. Is it just me or do others have the same issues? The old one, which is still available, would show the rest stops, fuel stations etc. on the display and printout. Is there a good trip planner out there?Re: Small pickup that can be towed 4 downI flat tow a 2011 Ford Ranger with 5 speed tranny. Works great. All you have to do is put it in neutral and turn the key to unlock.
