your only "over-weight" if your over your GVW that your registration is paid for. I wouldn't flinch at being over 1-2k as long as it's all safe (tires, wheels, axels).
I think you need to contact torklift, if the 48" truss can take 12,000 and 1,200 tongue then if they cut one down it will find your application.you could step into a 3" hitch but I don't see one listed off the bat for your truck and then accessories ...
