Toyhauler fuel tanks
Can anyone send some pictures of how the fuel station and generator tanks are mounted? I bought a 2007 387 skyline and it had no tanks. I couldn’t find anything on how they are supposed to be mounted so I connected the sensors to them and they marked empty when the sensor was upside down so I had thought I had figured it out that way. So there I go installing the tanks and I welded some brackets.. etc and after everything I was still unsure because I figured If the tanks are filled from the bottom the gasoline is going to have to be pressurized to fill up! I didn’t see how it could have been filled from the top since there are no holes in the frame and didn’t want to make one since it can weaken the frame. But if that’s how everyone else’s is I’ll make some holes and reroute the filler neck! If you have any pictures from a 2007 skyline that’ll be great or any other trailer cool too!12Views0likes1CommentMath isn't mathing
Looking at a Genesis Supreme 281KS FW toyhauler. The stated GVWR is 14,000. The hitch weight is 2,610. It has 2 7,000 lb axles. Dry weight is 10,820 which leaves 3,180 cargo capacity. Throw in 160 gallons of water 1,335 lbs, 40 gallons of gas 243 lbs and you are down to 1,602 cargo. Which might be enough to cover all my "stuff" our 50 inch RZR trail and dirt bike. And I'm aware I don't have to top off all the tanks. My question with all of this is, the axles alone can carry the total GVW, why isn’t the hitch weight accounted for? Giving you more cargo capacity?192Views0likes10CommentsNewbie power question
Help, please. My first time plugging the RV into the house plug ( using extension cord and dogbone) everything was great. Work just fine all weekend. Now...... everything is fine until the AC kicks for extra power, then it trips the breaker. It still works fine when we go camping (dont know if that's matters) but the Ac is no longer friends with the home outlet. Please help me get them friendly again. P.S. I am an absolute newbie with "powered" camper. I oncw had a pop-up with no electric, lol.Solved896Views0likes4Comments
