Ceiling repair after leak
I have a 2018 241RLK KZ Connect travel trailer. In bedroom above the window the ceiling had a soft spot. Got outside and up the ladder and there was a 2 inch slit at the rail that held the roof covering down. When I pressed it a swarm of ants with their eggs ran out. I sprayed them and went inside. When I pressed the ceiling again they started coming out on that side so I sprayed them there. It looks like I got them but I now have a section of soft plywood ceiling that is covered by the white interior. It's along a plastic strip that runs across the ceiling to the other side. Can I pry that loose and drop the covering to get at the wood or should I take off the outside metal strip and pull the superflex membrane up?
