Good morning everyone. Today has been a good day so far. I can read the computer screen and see what I am typing. It's cold outside with frost on the ground, but plenty of sunshine is burning it off. Just north of us sbpw fall was in their day's events/ WE won't see any of the white stuff according to our weather person. So far we are marching on toward Christmas with lots of hope and joy.
It's strange that I have been thinking of a childhood even that included my parents and a friend of theirs. What I accepted as normal back then has raised questions in my mind lately. Just who were these people and what happened to them over the years. All I remember is their last name was Rosen and my folks would visit them at their home just outside of Waynesboro. This was back in the late 40's and early 50's. Mr/ Rosen looked just like the comedian Phil Harris. He used to fo some fo the jokes and act like him at times. There was a friend from Germany who would also be there to participate in the activities. As stated before in another post he and Walter are look a likes.
I was about ten years old or maybe eleven or twelve years old at the time. but there was something about these friends that struck a memory nerve in my brain that I remember them so vividly. Anyway that was long ago and now far away. Walter you may be a ghost from my past as you remind me so much of him. Truly you can't look so much like a person and not be related in some way, it's mind boggling at times
