In the other post you asked if I had any German ancestry, and indeed I do on my mothers side, which is just full of Germans. Perhaps your old acquaintance was a dopperganger of mine! I know I saw one about thirty years ago at, of all places, a bowling alley that we were in a league at. We passed each other by in the lobby/concession area going in opposite directions, and I swear it was like looking in a mirror. :E Unfortunately, back then I was a lot shyer than now, and I did not stop him and ask who the heck he was. I sure wish I woulda though!
