We lost Murphy a week ago today. This time last week, she was still alive. I went home around noon time to check on her and she was really panting and having trouble breathing. The last time I saw her on our dog room camera was a little after 1:30pm. She got up and got a drink of water and then laid down out of site of the camera. When Donna got home at 4:30, she was gone.
I am really having a hard time with her death. Donna and I don't have any children and she was like a daughter to me. I know time will make things easier but right now I am really having a hard time.
