We ended up putting Baby down a couple weeks ago. We knew it was just a matter of time. She was diagnosed with inoperable bone cancer in September. She had been staying with our daughter most of the time but the last week she just gave up. She was tired and in a lot of pain. The lump on her shoulder went from golf ball size to softball size. We were told first of November that Lola was available for us to adopt. She temporarily motivated Baby, but it was not to be a cure. We got Baby from a rescue in October, 2014 after we lost Sugar in March and Ginger in September 2014.
