I am still in Indiana. My Mom went on hospice yesterday. Things started going downhill a few days ago and she is now refusing to eat. She is a choking hazard so she can only have thickened liquids which she hates. But she will drink her coffee even thickened, but nothing else. At 96 it's safe to say all her parts are wearing out and with hospice, they now only give her meds for comfort and pain.
I will be here for awhile yet. I hope the cold, cold weather stays away because I am living in MinnieMee and I don't know how to winterize her. . . never having planned to be in cold weather. But my water tank is under the dinette bench and I have heat tapes on my holding tanks.
Hopefully Mom will soon be on her journey and I will be back home.
