Yup.
The test done has no relevance to operating conditions of 2,000 bar and 150C normally experienced in a Diesel fuel pump circa Bosch CP 4.2
Same reservations noted in ASTM D975
And other studies I posted.
Sorry I don't have the time to read ALL your posts or links ( opps you don't link :B) but you will certainly agree the higher pressure pumps as in the CP4.2 will have a higher scar :E with greater pressure. (think of sandblasting) The CP3 used in pre 2011 GM's and all the Ram Cummins since 2004 IIRC didn't have to many issues.
Just to top it off, I wonder who at the refinery actually adds the lube after it flows into a tanker? I'm thinking of a pimpled face kid texting at the same time :E
