It's okay, don't have the time to read ASTM D975-11 (thanks anyway) and kinda
sorta knew that from all of the discussion(s) here and everywhere
Why am astounded that Rick got the treatment he got and doubly so since that
is where his OEM's position was based on...H2O in his system
Am seeing so many potential and actual avenues for H2O intrusion vs the band-aids
the OEMs have and are taking to manage
Which always goes back to the pump and cavitation that plays with the H2O vapor
pressure point. I'll go back and add micro bubbles that also create same/similar
issues as H2O vapor generation at a certain vacuum point
Which then causes or helps the exotic coating, weakened by organic amines, to
separate from it's base material. To then have either/or both the piston or
the cam follower come along and go metal to metal...
Double...no...triple sure of that because all of the OEM's are band-aiding
in that area. That they are insiders to way more info than us on the
outside and we outsiders are just guessing based on intuition, ancillary
knowledge, multitude of points of knowledge and experience from failure, etc
