The question is why is water not a big deal with CP3 (1600 bar) and now a huge issue?
What is the phenomena that made it a big nail for the OEMs
If ASTM spec is for .05% water by volume, then in actual use, measured in tank, with heated fuel recirculated, is not .1% (2X) reasonable?
150liters or so a tank (not nominal, but fully filled)
1/10th of 1 pct .15 liters.
That is well within the water separator to hold... if it is not emulsified.
