Oh my....could it as simple as that the innards of the pump is bare steel and
H2O rust's it, to then have cavitation agitate iron oxide particles to float
into the DLC coated areas ???
Just plating the pump innards would solve that one
But then, why did the previous pump not have this issue too?...or did that gear
pump prevent cavitation ?
